摘要

In an age marked by global interconnectedness, overcoming language barriers becomes paramount for nurturing comprehension and collaboration. Given the escalating pace of globalization, effective communication amidst diverse linguistic environments is indispensable. Real-time multilingual speech conversion (RMSC) emerges as a formidable challenge, demanding seamless integration of automatic speech recognition (ASR), machine translation (MT), speech-to-text, and text-to-speech functionalities. This paper introduces an innovative natural language processing (NLP)-based approach to RMSC. Our strategy harnesses a synergistic blend of ASR and MT models, trained on extensive multilingual corpora. Additionally, we present a novel attention mechanism empowering models to selectively focus on crucial segments of the speech signal and target language text. Through comprehensive evaluation across various multilingual speech conversion tasks, our approach demonstrates a significant performance improvement over prior method. The project at hand serves as a real-time translation tool, revolutionizing communication across linguistic boundaries.
