This chapter uses the framework of “grey” abortion stories to discuss abortions that exist outside of narratives of acceptability. This chapter will discuss the impact of abortion stigma on “grey” abortion stories, explore the clinical landscape of this arena, and outline ways in which clinicians can best support clients.
