Ultraviolet Photoacoustic Microscopy for Histopathology
摘要
This chapter provides an overview of the use of ultraviolet photoacoustic microscopy (UV-PAM) in histopathology. After introducing the basics of histopathology, we review the principles of PAM and its application in imaging biological tissues. Then, we discuss the different designs of UV-PAM systems and their respective advantages and limitations in histopathology applications. Finally, we explore the recent advances in deep learning-assisted UV-PAM for virtual staining, which has the potential to revolutionize histopathology by enabling the analysis of tissue samples without the need for traditional staining methods. Overall, this chapter offers a comprehensive overview of the use of UV-PAM in histopathology and highlights its potential to advance the field through novel imaging techniques.
