MRI in Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss

Once the clinical diagnosis of sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) has been established, the healthcare professional considers which imaging study is appropriate to detect possible causes and even a radiological sign with prognostic value regarding hearing improvement [1–5]. At the same time, the reasonable period of time for its performance should also be determined [6].
