Concept and Epidemiology of Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss
摘要
Sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL), whether partial or total, unilateral or bilateral, is a condition which occurs suddenly and without a clear trigger [1–3]. It can be accompanied by symptoms of dizziness or may be isolated. When a cause of SSNHL is not observed, it is defined as idiopathic SSNHL (ISSNHL).
