Research on User Experience Evaluation System of Popular Science Games Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process

The main purpose of this study is to establish a systematic evaluation index system and conduct research on popular science games from the perspective of user experience. Firstly, the user experience index system of popular science games is established through a comprehensive literature analysis and the application of the Delphi method, informed by thorough research into the characteristics of these games. Subsequently, relevant data from experts are collected, and the weight coefficients for each index are determined using the analytic hierarchy process. Finally, we employ the evaluation index system to assess and discuss the design of Mortise and Tenon for popular science games. This paper presents a user experience evaluation index system for popular science games comprising four dimensions: sensory experience, learning experience, interactive experience, and emotional experience, encompassing a total of 20 evaluation indexes. The research findings indicate that the learning experience and emotional experience significantly influence users’ experiences with popular science games, while sensory experiences and interactive experiences assume secondary roles. The proposed evaluation index system facilitates comprehensive and systematic evaluations of popular science games, offering theoretical references for design evaluations and iterative optimization.
