Optimization of Display Content Switching Under Multiple Large-Screen Displays: A Multi-channel Interaction Usability Evaluation

摘要

Large displays offer enhanced information presentation, enriching the immersive interactive experience; however, their physical distance from users poses usability problems for human-computer interaction. In order to improve interaction experience and task performance on large displays, this study incorporates voice input technology and somatosensory input technology. Subsequently, an evaluation is conducted on the usability of voice interaction and somatosensory + voice interaction, focusing on the task of screen content switching. The results suggest that under ideal circumstances, the incorporation of somatosensory interaction significantly enhances the performance of switching screen content. Nevertheless, due to somatosensory technology recognition's instability and the switching costs between voice and somatosensory interaction, the amalgamation of somatosensory interaction and voice interaction fails to effectively improve interactive performance in content-switching tasks. Ultimately, voice interaction emerges as the more suitable choice for large display screen content-switching tasks.
