A Survey on Some Existence Results for the Relativistic Pendulum Equation

In this brief review we present some recent results for the existence of T-periodic solutions for the pendulum equation in the relativistic framework, for both the conservative and the damped cases. We shall stress the similarities and the differences between the relativistic and classical settings.
