摘要

Participatory enterprise modelling (PEM) is focused on actively involving enterprise stakeholders and modelling experts in the modelling process. Many online/digital tools exist that could facilitate this process, but limited re-search has been done to evaluate these tools for the purpose of PEM, and specifically the ease-of-use or usability of these tools. We examine the usability of an online tool, MURAL, during PEM when participants use a business model canvas (BMC) to describe and visualize a business. By using a standardized usability questionnaire, the System Usability Scale (SUS), we determine that MURAL scores above average and is considered an acceptable tool during PEM using the BMC. Additional insights, such as the functional features from MURAL that contribute to the use-in-context, are also obtained through user feedback, interviews and observing recordings of the modelling sessions.
