The research paper discloses a blockchain-based ad-hoc network that optimizes navigation systems by providing live updates. The fundamental components of the network include user mobile devices and IoT gadgets such as security cameras, street lights, and so on. The proposal allows users to share real-time data on crowd, road type, and other relevant information with the navigation system through a decentralized data sharing platform. The platform offers incentives in the form of cryptocurrencies or equivalent rewards to encourage users to share accurate data in a timely manner. The use of blockchain-based systems ensures that the integrity of the data is maintained, data stays tamper-proof, and cannot be altered once it’s shared.
