Liam Neeson plays former CIA officer Bryan Mills in the 2009 box office hit Taken. Bryan has a challenging relationship with his teenage daughter, Kim, because of his divorce and his obsession with work. Then, Kim gets kidnapped. During the kidnapping, Bryan speaks to the criminals on Kim’s phone:“Good luck,” replies the kidnapper. Viewers immediately know what the next 80 min will look like. Good guy, Bryan Mills, will find and torture the bad guys. The “good luck” guy will pay for that comment. Bryan and Kim will reunite with father and daughter bonds restored. The good guys win, and the bad guys get their comeuppance. Buckle up, this is going to be fantastic. How can you not love Hollywood?
