摘要

The classic 1990 gangster movie Goodfellas ends with Ray Liotta’s Henry Hill breaking the fourth wall to complain about life outside the mob: “And that’s the hardest part. Today everything is different; there’s no action … have to wait around like everyone else. Can’t even get decent food—right after I got here, I ordered some spaghetti with marinara sauce, and I got egg noodles and ketchup. I’m an average nobody … get to live the rest of my life like a schnook.” The nights skirting the Copacabana line with his beautiful date Karen and being set up in the front row of a Henny Youngman show while The Crystals sing “Then He Kissed Me” are gone. Henry Hill is an “average nobody,” egg noodles and ketchup.
