Research and Design of Fog Network Architecture with Smart Control System

The article analyses the methods and algorithms for providing the necessary resources for telecommunications networks (TCN). A comparative description of the adaptive algorithms’ application options with decision-making management goals is carried out to determine the resources required for dynamic TCN. The architecture design peculiarities of the dynamic fog TCN as one of the most relevant network types today in places with available computing and telecommunication resources and limited or missing access to Internet resources are considered. The architecture of the dynamic automated control system (ACS) for the fog TCN is proposed based on which the characteristics of the fog TCN with ACS are given. Performance indicators of the fog TCN with ACS are presented, a mathematical model is proposed, and the characteristics of the fog network with ACS are investigated.
