Membership Root-Polynomial Functions

In the chapter, fuzzy logical models with root-polynomial membership functions are considered and analyzed. The properties of root-polynomial dependences are considered, and relevant examples of using such dependences as membership functions in fuzzy logic tasks for real technological and communication electronic control systems are given. The analytical relationships for calculating the coefficients of fifth-order and six-order root-polynomial functions are given, and the computer software for calculating the coefficients of different types of root-polynomial functions as membership one has been developed. Generally, root-polynomial functions are considered in the chapter as membership functions. The proposed approach is very effective for implementation in digital precision intelligence control systems, which are elaborated using the philosophy of artificial intelligence.
