Study of Inhomogeneities of Microwave Circuits
摘要
This chapter presents a method for calculating the structure of the electromagnetic field within microwave circuits, which is based on their [S] matrix and considers the diversity and complexity of the existing wave modes and the inhomogeneities of the transmission line. Diffraction of electromagnetic waves at the change of the microstrip line’s dimensions and at close width jumps of the microstrip also are analyzed. Finally, a microstrip line with irregular inhomogeneities connected in series in the form of width jumps is analyzed.
