Non-coronary Cardiac Structure and Masses
摘要
Cardiac CT provides a great deal of information about cardiac structure beyond the coronary tree. Assessment of the myocardium provides insight to ischemia and/or prior infarction, inclusive of coronary arteries affected. Cardiac function can be determined with a cardiac CT, as can the presence of cardiomyopathies, such as left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathy or arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia. Masses can be identified, and their appearance provides insight to their pathology; structural valvular as well as pericardial abnormalities can all be visualized with cardiac CT.
