Transforming Social Determinants of Health: Insights and Future Directions
摘要
There are a number of recently published books on SDOH; however, none emphasize global programs being implemented and evaluated in marginalized and/or low-resource global communities. This book contributes to the evidence on SDOH from not only academic researchers but also clinicians, community partners and stakeholders, and leaders of faith-based institutions. We anticipate that this book will contribute to a diverse perspective on the possibilities of incorporating SDOH into global communities and faith-based institutions. Hopefully, long-term outputs will be to inform, inspire, and encourage the novice and senior researcher and clinician, community stakeholder, and faith-based institutional leader to develop, implement, and evaluate the SDOH (cultural, social, environmental, and political conditions) on health and health disparities among marginalized and/or low-resource global communities.
