Prevalence and Characteristics of Developmental Trauma Among Offenders

Developmental trauma refers to traumatic experiences that occur during childhood or adolescence and have a lasting impact on an individual’s development. This chapter will examine the prevalence and characteristics of developmental trauma among offending populations.
