Research on AR Cultural Heritage Museum Application Design Driven by User Demands

摘要

In the context of the extensive integration of cultural heritage digitization and virtual augmented reality (AR) technology development, the purpose is to better promote the inheritance of cultural heritage, meet user needs, and enhance the user experience of AR cultural heritage museum apps. The method employed a user-driven product design approach, conducting a comprehensive study and analysis using Kano, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) methods. Firstly, user requirements were obtained through preliminary research using observation and interviews, and Kano was used for attribute classification. Secondly, AHP was utilized to calculate the weight values of different attributes of user requirements. Thirdly, the QFD method was applied to transform user requirements into quality characteristics and calculate their relative importance. Finally, clear design strategies were proposed based on the results. The results indicate that intuitive high-definition user interfaces, QR code-scanning AR entry points, comprehensive museum tour guides, virtual exhibit animations, and distinguishing modes for AR both inside and outside the museum are relatively important design features that should be prioritized in the design process. In conclusion, this study thoroughly explores user requirements and, based on the analysis of these requirements, maps them into concrete design strategies. The scientifically designed AR cultural heritage museum app provides guidance and valuable insights for subsequent related design research.
