Exploring User Behavior Based on Metaverse: A Modeling Study of User Experience Factors
摘要
The metaverse plays a significant role in breaking through the limitations of time and space in the real world, better using current digital intelligence, and presenting new insights visually that might otherwise be buried. Nevertheless, as of now, users’ use of the metaverse is more based on experimentation, and how users can engage with it is very limited. Accordingly, this paper proposes a User Experience Factor Model, based on UGC creation, digital economy, and leisure interaction as the main elements, which can realize the experience of immersion and belongingness for users and analyzes the cyclic facilitation between the details and the reasonableness of the model using structural equation modeling and quantitative data. Furthermore, this study optimizes the model based on the analysis results to realize the metaverse design cycle of immersion and belonging. It proposes that the model can be used as a paradigm for overlapping interactions between the physical and virtual worlds. The paradigm presented in this paper can help metaverse development and investment companies understand user needs more effectively and provide a paradigm that can be referenced to attract user engagement and retention.
