The Forensic Psychiatric Hospital of Reggio Emilia

Reggio Emilia has played an important role in the history of psychiatry in Italy; the psychiatrists who worked in its two psychiatric institutions, the historical Ospedale Psichiatrico San Lazzaro (San Lazzaro Psychiatric Hospital) and the Ospedale Psichiatrico Giudiziario (Forensic Psychiatric Hospital) developed an interesting collaboration.
