Accordingly, the preventionPrevention of sexual misconductSexual misconduct in the militaryMilitary is a readiness imperative. In this chapter, we briefly summarize the prevalence of sexual misconductSexual misconduct in the United States militaryMilitary and risk factors associated with sexual misconductSexual misconduct in the militaryMilitary context. The chapter then explores the impacts of sexual misconductSexual misconduct on military teamMilitary teams diversity and inclusionDiversity and Inclusion. Finally, we provide recommendations to advance the understanding and preventionPrevention of sexual misconductSexual misconduct through research, policy, and practice to foster and support diverse and inclusive military teamsMilitary teams.
