Utilities of Chatbots in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language at Higher Education Institutions

The purpose of the paper is to present the experience of using chatbots, GPT chat, in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language to students of national groups, as well as foreign students. The effectiveness of chatbots with artificial intelligence in learning the Russian language is determined, and the pedagogical, social, and technological opportunities that they represent are identified. The positive aspects and some difficulties of its use are described. The results of the study, which was conducted from 2022 to 2023, are presented. Scientific and methodological literature on the research topic was analyzed. Based on the work carried out, conclusions were drawn, and recommendations were made.
