Decentralized Blockchain Networks and Economic Security: Balancing Scalability and Security Tradeoffs

  • Rimma Yunusova

摘要

Blockchain technology has emerged as a transformative force across various industries, offering promise and potential to revolutionize economic systems and enhance security. This research delves into the critical nexus between economic security and the tradeoff among decentralization, scalability, and security within blockchain networks. The overarching objective is to unravel the intricate dynamics of these variables to provide a robust foundation for fostering economic security in blockchain ecosystems. Our investigation encompasses a dual methodology, combining quantitative analysis of blockchain data with qualitative assessments of network architectures and consensus mechanisms. Real-world blockchain case studies and simulations underpin our study, shedding light on the impact of different approaches on the economic security of participants. This research advances the understanding of economic security challenges in decentralized blockchain networks, illuminating the intricate tradeoffs between scalability and security, and the ramifications for economic security. Crucially, we offer innovative insights into potential solutions, presenting alternative consensus algorithms and network architectures designed to mitigate these tradeoffs while preserving economic security. The significance of this research is two-fold. It not only contributes to the burgeoning field of blockchain technology by aiding in the development of more secure and economically sustainable blockchain systems but also paves the way for the broader adoption of blockchain applications across diverse sectors. As blockchain technology continues to reshape our world, understanding and optimizing economic security within this context is of paramount importance.
