OPEC in the Age of Climate Change
摘要
OPECOPEC is an oiloil cartelcartel, led by its biggest producer, Saudi ArabiaSaudi Arabia. It restricts output, by means of member country quotas, to support the price of oil, over and above the marginal cost of production. In doing so, OPEC maximises revenues not only for its members, but for all the oil producers. It is a government-level organisation and it is not considered illegal.
