Assertiveness: A View from the Perspective of Reflexivity
摘要
This chapter explores the contribution that sociology can make to the study of assertiveness, a topic that this science has limitedly explored. Given that assertiveness contributes to the regulation of social interactions and that it can be linked to discourses and actions that trigger social disorganisation, social movements or other critical phenomena, the chapter explores an approach to the contribution that sociology can make from reflexivity, given the importance of the critical path, especially under the intellectual influence of Pierre Bourdieu. As such, this chapter carries a selection of ideas to understand and employ sociology as a toolbox for the intellection and disposition of proposals that contribute to the aspiration of more assertive societies and individuals.
