A Short Survey on Comparative Study of Modern Cryptography Approach

摘要

Organizations all over the globe produce a lot of data every day because of the development of e-commerce apps, social networks, the World Wide Web, and other technologies. An intrusion occurs when hackers breach the data and use it to their benefit. Securing information is difficult in the internet era since terabytes of data are being generated daily and an online platform is available every second for user demands. Therefore, the current world’s information security depends heavily on cryptography algorithms, which make the online environment safer. In terms of using the cryptography algorithm, you can ensure confidentiality, authentication, integrity, availability, and identification for genuine users, as well as protect sensitive data and information from unauthorized persons. The cryptography methods (encryption and decryption) use mathematics to secure data, and there are various cryptography algorithms available, but appropriate algorithm selection is vital for secure communication that delivers heightened security, reliability, and performance to meet the requirements of a user. This survey paper aims to provide an overview of popularly used cryptography algorithms and show their significance when deploying security in the required environment.
