Conclusions
摘要
While the speed and scale of technological transformations necessitates explanatory efforts, as this final chapter concludes, such efforts typically come by way of occluding key tensions within conceptions of the role of the human and their relationship with the environment. In fact, such occlusion is only possible if not only the present but also the past and, correspondingly, the future are lost track of, thereby opening up the way for imaginaries informed by predominant expectations and fears. As such narratives are seen as disempowering, the interactive alternative proposed in this book gains additional value.
