Reprogramming the Unconscious Mind
摘要
This chapter discusses techniques for reprogramming the unconscious mind. This is based on the idea that it is the unconscious mind that generates dispositional representations or impulses to act in a particular way in response to a particular situation. These unconscious mind impulses, or emotions, are much stronger than the conscious mind’s cognitive thinking or even desires. Understanding this, it then makes sense to reprogramme the unconscious mind in a way that allows these impulses to take action in a more desirable way. This can be done through a variety of techniques: affirmations, breathwork, meditation, NLP, Ericksonian hypnotherapy, Time Line Therapy®, and dreamwork.
