Attachment Centred Therapy
摘要
This chapter introduces Attachment Centred Therapy (ACT) and the existential dread of attachment trauma. Attachment trauma is the missing piece in addictions, relationship difficulties, and other psychological and emotional problems. Some therapeutic techniques that are an integral part of ACT are referenced. Transformations of information are discussed. The Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) is introduced. ACT’s theoretical foundation based on empirical evidence is presented. Criteria of validity are discussed: observation, replication, outcome, and application. The core beliefs of attachment are introduced.
