An Episode from the History of Mathematics at the Beginning of the Twentieth Century (To the Prehistory of the Soviet Mathematical School)
摘要
The Soviet mathematical school which constitutes one of the leading mathematical schools of the second half of the twentieth century was born in the 1930s. Its formation resulted from the convergence of the ideas of the two leading Russian schools of that time—the Moscow school and the Petersburg one.
