Testing of Delay Lines Breaking Bandwidth-Delay Constraint
摘要
Interferometric Delay Lines are a quite interesting class of photonic devices. They permit to shift an optical signal in time, choosing the amount of delay freely and in a continuous way. However, the longer the time delay, the narrower the bandwidth. We propose two different devices (respectively composed of four and two interferometers arranged in suitable manners) to overcome this bandwidth-delay constraint. In addition we provide proper recipes to test them in a fast and effective way.
