Consumption management activities may change the time and size of new distribution network facilities such as sources and reservoirs, transmission and treatment facilities. Consumption management can save water and financial resources. The implementation of the water consumption management program leads to a reduction in costs. In this regard, it is necessary to use methods that reduce the need to create new facilities in the production sector. In some cases, the main costs related to the facilities cannot be avoided. Consumption management can save the repair and maintenance costs. In this work, the relationships between water consumption parameters and water production were investigated to evaluate the benefit and cost for consumption management programs. The amount of savings due to information and training program was 6 (%), Physical loss control was 29 (%), water reuse was 57 (%), and consumption reducers was 8(%). The results also showed the 30 (%) reduction of present Non-Revenue Water (NRW) by smart control through the Internet of Things (IoT).
