Pigmentary Genodermatoses

This chapter includes both hypomelanosis and hypermelanosis genodermatoses. Hypomelanosis my be related to a defect of embryological development of melanocytes, a defect of biogenesis of melanosomes or a defect of melanosomes transport. Hypermelanosis may be diffuse linear hyperpigmentation, diffuse reticular hyperpigmentation, diffuse non-figurate hyperpigmentation, genodermatoses associated with café` au lait macules and associated with lentiginosis.
