Construction and Experiment of College English Dynamic Assessment Model Based on Mobile Learning Platform

Based on Super Star learning platform and the dynamic assessment theory, this paper constructs a college English dynamic assessment model. Designed to develop English language competence, the dynamic assessment model embodies the construction principles of process orientation, integration of teaching and assessment, multiple interaction and technical support, and encompasses the essential elements of assessment contents, methods, assessors and tools. The paper further instantiates the assessment model by incorporating the above-mentioned elements into the three teaching stages of a computer-aided college English course, namely pre-class guidance stage, classroom learning stage, post-class reflection stage. Furthermore, this study adopts teaching experiment to verify the effect of dynamic assessment model in college English teaching. It is found that this model is helpful to improving students’ English competence, and has practical effect on college English teaching, which shows the applicability of the assessment model and provides useful reference for college English teaching assessment.
