摘要

Higher education plays a crucial role in societal development and cultural heritage. In the era of globalization and informatization, it is important to continuously innovate and adapt. Intellectual property is an essential element of cultural innovation and practical implementation, offering new perspectives and opportunities for university education. This title emphasizes the innovative diffusion of Guanyi Cultural Intellectual Property (IP) in the context of university education. Guanyi Culture combines elements from ancient to modern times, and from China and abroad. It represents a significant aspect of traditional Chinese culture. However, current research on Guanyi Culture primarily focuses on cultural education, technological heritage, artistic design, and cultural dissemination, with a notable gap in the context of intellectual property. Based on the innovation diffusion model, this paper discusses the impact of the five attributes of innovation on Guanyi Cultural IP. The findings suggest that “compatibility, relative advantage, simplicity, trialability and observability” positively influence the adoption of Guanyi Cultural IP. As indicated by regression analysis result, “relative advantage” of the Guanyi Cultural IP has the most significant positive impact particularly. Therefore, it is recommended to leverage the relative advantages of Guanyi culture, respect its traditional attributes while balancing the innovation, establish legal protection for Guanyi Cultural IP, and highlight its economic benefits. Guanyi culture is poised to integrate into the global cultural arena via its cultural IP. Under this theme, the exploration can focus on how Guanyi Cultural IP is applied in higher education, assessing its impact on improving students’ learning experiences and knowledge dissemination.
