Design of Interactive Teaching System for Stereoscopic English Classroom Based on Virtual Reality

  • Yan Gao

摘要

In the current landscape of Chinese education, the traditional indoctrination model continues to define the prevalent characteristics of school education: educators tend to rely on repetitive explanations in the classroom, while students are accustomed to passively receiving information. To enhance the quality and efficiency of higher education, there is a growing trend towards adopting wireless network terminal teaching modes that prioritize student-centered learning. This article introduces a novel approach by incorporating Virtual Reality (VR) technology into the design of an interactive three-dimensional English classroom teaching system. The research findings reveal that the efficiency of resource updates in the system developed within this study consistently outperforms that of two other comparative systems. The resource update efficiency of the system in this article reaches a maximum of 0.97, underscoring its ability to effectively cater to the resource needs of both teachers and students within the teaching environment. VR technology excels in vividly portraying three-dimensional spatial concepts, allowing learners to engage directly and naturally with various elements in a virtual environment. Through diverse modes of interaction, learners actively participate in the unfolding events and dynamic changes, granting them unprecedented freedom to control and manipulate the entire learning environment.
