摘要

How to create a Non-player character (NPC) that has its own personality and also consistent with the intention of game designers is a problem to be discussed. This study is aim to design a system for designers to create NPCs quickly and easily that can accept open input of player and make a variety of reasonable feedback adaptively in the game based on the dynamic interactions of player. The system comprises two essential components: an adaptive personality model manager and a drama mechanism manager based on retrieval augmented generation. In our experiment, a role-playing game is designed using this system, and corresponding user research is conducted to verify its effectiveness.
