Flap Related Complications

Abnormalities are commonly encountered during LASIK flap creation. In some instances, surgeons have had to halt the procedure due to issues such as suction loss, incomplete flaps, abnormal flap-interface adhesions, or even lacerations during the dissection. This chapter presents multiple cases of complicated flaps, many were ultimately successfully managed with early diagnosis and good surgical planning.
