摘要

Refractive surgery has become a popular and effective method for correcting refractive errors. While the vast majority of these surgeries are successful, there are still rare complications that may arise. These miscellaneous complications can include foreign bodies, bleeding under the flap, corneal hydrops, and neuropathy. It is important for eyecare specialists to be aware of them, identify them in clinic, and take necessary precautions to prevent them. Proper pre-operative screening and postoperative care can help reduce the risk of complications, and prompt diagnosis and treatment can help minimize the risks of vision loss.
