Model Predictive Control Based MPPT for Grid-Tied PV Generation System
摘要
This paper provides a Model Predictive Control (MPC) approach based on Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) enabling high accuracy as well as rapid reaction time. The combination of both of these strategies enhances the initial technique’s ability to track. A three-phase inverter fed by a set of PV panels was utilized to evaluate the suggested control mechanism. The switching impulses of the inverter are generated by the MPC algorithm. The MPC algorithm calculates the reference current using the Perturb and Observe MPPT approach. As a result, the MPPT-based MPC algorithm governs power transmission. The power flow and MPPT efficiency are examined in a simulation executed in the MATLAB/Simulink system. The suggested method’s effectiveness has been determined. Aside from MPPT analysis. The data received demonstrates that the suggested control approach is effective.
