Maximizing Photovoltaic Energy Potential Through Tilt Angle Optimization: A Case Study in Sidi-Bel-Abbes
摘要
This paper presents a study on optimizing photovoltaic energy potential in the Sidi-bel-Abbes region, Algeria, by determining the optimal tilt angle for solar panels. Using the “Liu and Jordan” model and precise mathematical calculations, solar radiation data were computed for various periods. The research identified Marhoum as the municipality with the highest energy potential. Comparing fixed and dynamic tilt angles, the study demonstrates the significant increase in energy capture with optimal tilt angles. The findings emphasize the importance of tilt angle optimization for efficient solar energy utilization and sustainable power generation in semi-arid regions.
