Blockchain-Based Identity Management

E-government or the use of ICT means for the delivery of government services, is an effective way to facilitate administrative procedures for both citizens and businesses. The sine qua non condition remains their identification. Frequently plagued by misuse, data theft, and lack of regulation, traditional solutions for the management of digital identity, often centralized, show their limits. This is where blockchain technology can be exploited to increase the level of security of elaborate systems such as government platforms. This work therefore proposes to replace the National Identity Register of such a platform with its alternative blockchain; resulting in not only more secure identity data but also improved performance.
