The purpose of this article is to identify the use of blockchain in healthcare, and specifically the possible disadvantages. The patient’s medical records are crucial for personal ownership, as they are a record of their entire care history. Numerous aspects of society have been transformed by the internet, similar to how Blockchain technology has brought about significant changes in various aspects of both business and society, during the past two decades. The technology of Blockchain, a distributed database, is widely recognized for its role in keeping track of transaction details for digital currencies, like Bitcoin. Despite this, the basic mechanics for executing transactions by individuals and organizations are not up to date for the 21st century. Furthermore, we discovered potential conducting an additional literature review for application areas. By identifying all the weaknesses and potential improvements in current solutions to this subject, we were able to introduce new research concepts.
