The Benefits of Gamification and Mobile Learning in Programming Complex Data Structures in the Context of the Coronavirus Disease

Today, mobile technology is playing an integral part of individuals’ lives especially in education. To satisfy the learning needs of learners, active pedagogies is the main objective of mobile learning. From this perpective, to promote their motivation through active pedagogies in educational settings, gamification has garnered significant interest for various information technologies including mobile technology. Therefore, in this research paper, our main contribution brings up is to investigate how incorporating gamification with mobile technologies enhences motivation of learners in higher education, and focuses on how gamification can assist students in assimiling and programing complex data structures lessons during Coronavirus period.
