Transforming Lives: First-Person Reflections from UC Links Participants

This chapter offers eight first-person narratives from differently positioned UC Links participants including community partners, undergraduate and graduate students, and university faculty. Together, these reflections describe how participation in UC Links programs has transformed lives: by creating opportunities for changing forms of participation by members who have taken on different roles and identities in the network over time and by both inspiring aspirations and opening pathways to college, careers, and life.
