Sicani Mountains Hydrogeological Basin

The Sicani Mountains are a vast area straddling the provinces of Agrigento and Palermo, largely made up of a hilly strip interspersed with vast plains occupied by arable and uncultivated land and pastures, while the mountainous area actual (over 800 m a.s.l.) is characterised by sheer cliff, mostly made up of carbonates.
