Beyond the Anthropocene: Ethics, Equity, and Responsible Use of AI in CIE

This chapter explores the ethical dimensions of integrating AI into the field of CIE. By situating the emergence of AI as a significant new player in the educational landscape within the context of the AnthropoceneAnthropocene, the chapter sheds light on the ramifications of this new actor for environmental sustainability, human agency and governance, and equity and access.
