Research on Auditory Guided Speech Experience Design Based on Traffic Light Scenarios in Urban Public Transport Spaces

摘要

This study focuses on the design of auditory-guided speech experience in a typical urban traffic public space scenario of traffic lights, paying special attention to the three core design elements of voice gender, speech rate, and prompt word length. Through a well-designed experimental listening and data analysis process, we explored how these elements affect pedestrians’ perceptions of two key experience dimensions: alertness and friendliness. The results show that the appropriate gender of the announcement voice, the reasonable speed of speech, and the appropriate length of the alert words can significantly increase the acceptance and satisfaction of pedestrians with the auditory guidance voice, which in turn can enhance their sense of safety and efficiency in the traffic environment. These findings provide strong theoretical support and practical guidance for further optimising the design of auditory guide speech in urban public transport spaces. The results of this research are of great value in promoting the design innovation and service enhancement of urban public transport spaces.
