Hyperopic Correction by SMILE

This chapter reviews the evolution of hyperopic correction through small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE). Initial challenges with femtosecond lenticule extraction (FLEx) prompted modifications, including increased pulse frequency and lenticule shape enhancements leading to the current outcomes being at least as good as those of modern Femto-LASIK.
